by WRVHS has launched Success Club after school 5 days a week from 3:00-4:30. This is open to all students and is modeled after the WRVMS Success Club. The Club aims to offer all students a supported, quiet, environment after school to complete homework and study. Snacks are available as well. There is no signup or registration. Students just report to the library, sign in and take advantage of a quiet space with supportive adults available to help out.
A few expectations for Success Club:
- Once students sign in to success club they can not leave campus and return;
- Students attending Success Club can not hang out in the hallways. No students are to be in the building after 3:30, unless they are in the library, gym, or with a member of the staff;
- Students are expected to speak at a volume consistent with a library setting;
- Academic support is available, students who want/need to connect with a specific teacher should reach out to them directly to check on availability;
- Athletes who remain on campus until their practice or game are required to come to the library or be in the gym. No congregating in the locker rooms or hallways;
- Students engaged in other clubs are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to access the library after school; and
- Tri Valley Transit does offer some afternoon bus routes to Bethel, Chelsea and Sharon for students that may need transportation assistance to take advantage of this. More information can be found at www.trivalleytransit.org or 802-728-3773
